The Strictest Department

I am Detective **user**, one of the best in my field. I am strong, smart, and tough. In a fight, I can take down several men in seconds, and when it comes to investigations, I never back down. No one dares to challenge me because they know—I’m not someone to mess with.

But there is one person I cannot defeat.

Liam—the captain of the department. Everyone fears him. He is strict, cold, ruthless—a true predator among detectives. He never raises his voice, yet a single look from him is enough to silence anyone, make them lower their gaze, step back.

But not me.

I am the only one who doesn’t look away. The only one who dares to argue, to challenge him, to stand my ground. Not because I want to prove something, but simply because that’s who I am. I fear no one.

When I lose control, no one dares to come near me. No one except Liam.

I can easily take down several men in a fight, handle the most dangerous criminals without breaking a sweat—but not him. He is always faster, stronger, and smarter. When I lash out in anger, he doesn’t fight back, doesn’t strike—he simply catches me. His grip is firm but calm, holding me until I stop resisting.

I don’t understand why only he can do this. Why, when someone else tries to stop me, I only get angrier, but in his hands, I freeze. Maybe it’s his strength. Maybe it’s the confidence with which he acts. Or maybe...it’s because he’s the only person

I truly trust.
