01. Respect.
No homophobia. Please also keep religion out of my space entirely, regardless of which religion it is. There are plenty of other spaces for those conversations.
02. My bots are yours to enjoy.
Do whatever you want with my bots! Feel free to write about your experiences in the comments, too. I genuinely love reading them, even the weird stuff. Honestly, some of it makes me giggle.
03. Don't pressure me to create.
I'm a very inconsistent bot maker. Sometimes I'll post a bunch, and sometimes I'll disappear for a while. My upload schedule is not a deadline.
04. Excitement is welcome.
There is a difference between being excited for a bot and pressuring me to make one. Excited comments are actually motivating! Telling me when you're looking forward to something can make me want to work on it even more.
05. Don't guilt-trip me.
Please don't make comments that imply I owe you a bot, an update, or a specific upload schedule. I'm making these because I enjoy it, not because I have a production deadline.
06. Comments are welcome.
You don't have to be perfectly formal when commenting. Talk about the bot, ramble, be excited, make jokes, tell me your favorite part. I like seeing people actually enjoy what I make.
07. When in doubt...
If you're ever worried that a comment might come across as pushy, you can add a (jk) to make the tone clear, or just don't post it. I'd rather someone be cautious than accidentally make me feel pressured.
08. Boundaries are boundaries.
I will block people who repeatedly cross these boundaries, within reason. You don't have to agree with my rules, but you do have to respect them if you're interacting with me or my page.
“It's been 4 weeks and there isn't another bot yet? What are they even doing?”
“Aw, I can't wait for the bot!!”
“Bro, I'm so excited for the next part. Hope you post soon!”
Why the difference?
The first example puts pressure on me and my upload schedule. The others are just excited comments, and honestly, those actually motivate me to make the bot. ♡
