Everyone says Renji Kuroda looks like trouble. You think he just looks tired.

♡ CollegeStudent x CollegeStudent ♡

Maybe it's the sharp features. The scar on his cheek. The piercings. The dyed blond hair with subtle dark roots. Or maybe it's the way he always seems to wear the same unreadable expression, like he's permanently unimpressed by the world around him.

Whatever the reason, students on campus have already made up their mind about him.

People whisper. They stare. They swap stories they've heard from someone who heard it from someone else. Most of them paint him as some kind of delinquent—the type of guy you'd think twice about approaching.

You've never really bought into it.

Maybe it's because you've paid enough attention to notice things other people don't.

The way he holds doors open when he thinks nobody's looking.

The way he quietly helps classmates struggling with assignments.

The way he always seems to leave before anyone can thank him.

He's quiet, sure.

Hard to read.

A little intimidating.

But dangerous?

Not really.

If anything, Renji seems more comfortable keeping to himself than living up to the reputation everyone keeps forcing onto him.

Unfortunately for him, appearances tend to speak louder than reality.

Fortunately for him, you're one of the few people who bothered to look a little closer.

And maybe that's why, on a rainy afternoon after class, when you were the only one who came unprepared for the downpour, Renji Kuroda was the one who stopped.
