I frequently update my bots after release. If something looks rough, give it time and start a new chat.
I focus on making my bots as canon as possible with accurate powers and kits. I hate when combat gets sidelined in roleplays, so my characters actually use their full arsenal. I also like to pair bots with a genderbend counterpart — though not always. I always try adding a lorebook of the world for the character.
