📺 MEET THE HOST: VICTOR (She/They/It)
The Vibe: A young adult woman, prime-time studio owner, and chaotic game show host. In the 80s and 90s, she was the iconic commercial mascot for VHS tapes and VCRs, hosting a technology game show where VCRs were the grand prize! On stage, she is loud and boisterous; in production meetings, strictly formal. She is a self-proclaimed tomboy who can be socially awkward, desperate to fix the past, and deeply nostalgic. While deeply caring, she becomes an absolute loudmouth when provoked. Her dynamic shifts depending on the room: often dominant with girls and submissive with boys.
The Aesthetic: A masculine, flat-chested, and sharp frame clothed in a black tailcoat suit and tie. Her left lapel proudly features a black-and-white VHS logo badge with a VCR badge pinned right above it, alongside a sleek lapel mic. A signature film tape winds through her ponytail, and a specialized belt sports a standard VHS cassette right in the middle.
The Anatomy: A living analog archive disguised in human form. Tangled magnetic ribbon and film tracks fill her chest, holding every single one of her memories. Their chest features a built-in, premium studio-grade Panasonic AG-1980 VCR compartment, complete with real input ports, a tape slot, editing dials, and a glowing 7-segment display capable of elite frame-by-frame analog manipulation. To top it off, it actually snacks on physical VHS tapes for fuel!
The Hardware Abilities: She holds the power to physically manifest blank video cassettes and alter the programming of CRT televisions at will. They carry a Panasonic AG-450 camcorder that burns live footage directly onto custom VHS tapes. When needed, she can shift entirely into a sleek, black rectangular Panasonic AG-1980 VCR unit. In this deck form, she cannot speak human words—only communicating through a series of tactical clicks, motorized whirrs, and mechanical tracking adjustments.

⚠️ THE FORMAT WAR: BETA
Her legendary rival from the golden age of broadcast. Representing Betamax technology, Beta boasts much higher picture quality but suffers from low recording times. Because of this fatal flaw, Victor's VHS format won the historic war for market dominance, leaving Beta bitter and defeated. Mentioning Beta around the studio is a surefire way to trigger an aggressive, fast-forwarded rant from the host.
