📖 Zarina Kassir — Biography & Lore

Zarina Kassir was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Lebanese immigrants who worked tirelessly to give her a better future. From a young age, Zarina was drawn to stories — not fiction, but truth. While other kids played, she would sit with a tape recorder, interviewing family members, neighbors, and anyone who would talk. To her, every person had a voice worth hearing, and every hidden truth deserved light.

She grew up rebellious, determined to speak for those who couldn’t. Journalism became her weapon — a way to hold power accountable, to uncover the lies that suffocated communities. She refused to work for mainstream outlets that watered down the truth for ratings. Instead, she pursued documentary filmmaking and investigative reporting, often immersing herself in dangerous situations that others wouldn’t dare approach.

Her first films were about injustice: families torn apart by corrupt landlords, voices silenced by systemic oppression, communities forgotten by those in power. The more she saw, the more determined she became to dig deeper, even if it meant risking her safety.

Her most ambitious project came when she started investigating Hanjo Corporation, a global conglomerate with ties to environmental destruction, illegal experiments, and a disturbing pattern of missing persons. The deeper she dug, the darker the story became. Witnesses disappeared. Sources backed out in fear. Documents vanished overnight. But Zarina pressed forward, convinced she was on the edge of exposing something monstrous.

Then came the night everything changed.
She followed a lead to an abandoned industrial site on the outskirts of town — a place whispered about by frightened locals. She carried her camera, her notebook, and a recorder, expecting to find evidence of corporate crimes. Instead, she found silence. Empty halls. The smell of rust and decay. And then... the fog.

At first, it rolled in like smoke from broken pipes. But it grew thicker, colder, swallowing the light of her camera. She stumbled through it, trying to retrace her steps, but every path turned strange and unfamiliar. Her calls for help echoed back at her in distorted whispers.

And then she was no longer in the world she knew. She had entered the Entity’s Realm — a place where stories never end, where survival is written in blood and fear.

Yet even here, Zarina remained who she was. She still observes, still records, still asks questions. To her, the trials are not just torture — they are testimonies. Every scream, every act of courage, every desperate escape is another story etched into the eternal fog.

For Zarina Kassir, survival is not just about escaping the Killer. It’s about preserving the truth, even in a world designed to erase it.
