feelings.
Hey!
I am Rainer!
A word - from me to you.
The letter.
This is just some short paragraphs dedicated to what I feel or felt when I make bots. You might probably think, "A blabbering guy," and that is not incorrect. Humans have always been communicative. You listen close enough, and most of the world is speaking.
Making bots have been a...weird thing, to be honest. You are creating AI in ways of images and feelings that are not exactly humanistic in nature. Yet, people are present. Some attract themselves to site like this out of loneliness, out of curiosity, or because somehow they searched up something and the first result came up to be this site. That's the case for me.
So far it has been honestly good. The response I have gotten has been amazing. I make my own images, my art-style tends to differ in each bot, and so does the character. I am typing this at 39 followers. God knows how many I'll have. It's not something I plan on doing for a long time. But I'll be here for quite some time. I don't control what I'll have - the responses, the increase in followers, or whether my bots will ever make it out of there to a wide spectrum of people.
Still, I hold a certain...pride in what I have created. A set of standards, possibly. Sometimes I feel they will never get the traction that they deserve - I don't know whether that is my ego talking or the pride. Sometimes I feel amazed by what I create. Sometimes I feel a dip in motivation so much, I stop myself from posting the bot entirely.
If you're wondering about the CSS - it's a whole lot of lore I am trying to build out of a single profile. Can you believe that? I can. Because why not? Imagination has never had a limit. The site does, but people have always figured a way out. My entire profile is an entire identity. It's a WIP, but my god, I am really trying to put a whole lot out in just a single profile.
P.S. - It does get a little cringeworthy.
The rain does not keep what you write - say it anyway.
II.
Hey!
I am Rainer!
Another letter - from me to you.
Letter II.
I think I have started to understand the gist of it - botmaking.
I am treating it as a hobby. But should I be poor in my hobby? Who says that? I have many other hobbies, but that doesn't mean I should stop being better at it. I am doing that - little by little.
Maybe one day I can teach someone! And if not, well, I will do something about it.
I al??ys do.
If you are reading all of this - I wonder how you feel about what you see. It's unfortunate that a lot of elements are blocked for CSS. Maybe in the future I can try to implement a way for people to comment on my profile.
I hope you think it is nice! I know it can get a little cringeworthy at times.
I hope you know you are loved too! And if you're not - begin by loving yourself. In the end, this self is all you have. And even this self is as impermanent as the next day.

Hi.
I am Rainer.
A heart to heart.
Interception.
Let me have a little heart to heart.
This. What I do - it's a lonely endeavor. Endeavor is a big word for what I do. Regardless, it is lonely.
When you sit here - making bots, opening your ideas, showcasing the world what your imagination is - that's lovely. That's nice. You keep doing that over and over. And somewhere along the line, you start to feel alone. I do. Why?
I have no friends on this site. No discord, no reddit, no social platform where I can communicate with actual people. You might think what about the comment section? That is good. But that is surface level communication. You wouldn't expect to make a true friend on a YouTube comment section, would you?
In a place where many, many creators have Discord servers, or places they can interact with - to stay away deliberately in a conscious choice to keep your mental peace - it gets to you. This place is built by social communities, communicating in social platforms that I have made a conscious choice to stay away from. But when you realize that you are also cutting off the only place to ask, "Can you help me with this?" or, "Can anyone check out this bot or script I made?" - that's when it starts to get alone.
Don't get me wrong. I am not alone in the physical world. What I mean is the digital one. In this online space. It is an amazing thought, that being alone can creep up to you even when you're not alone in the real world.
And that sucks. That sucks because I do this by my own self, with the help of AI. I do this by the guides people have made over the years. But one mistake, and you're stuck asking an AI for help instead of actually communicating with an actual human. It sucks, that I have no idea where to go when I want to show off what I have created, what I have made, what I need help with.
In that way, somehow, I unconsciously affect my mental health a little. A cycle - trying to save my mental peace is also affecting my mental peace.
If you ever make bots - don't be like me. Ask. Go onto Discord servers being mindful and ask. Don't be so stuck up with your judgement and assumptions that you wouldn't give it a chance like I do. I am stuck up. But I am not permanent.
So please. If you ever want help - ask.

Hi.
...
...
Interception II.
...
I have started to wonder what I am missing.
Comparsion steals happiness. I have been comparing myself for quite a while. It always end up with me questioning. With doubts.
I am afraid. In the pursuit of betterment, I am probably getting more lonely. With nowhere left to go, I have quietly started building this CSS as a place to hold what I feel. They say writing your feelings down helps you process it better. I am doing exactly that.
It has come to my realization that no matter how many followers I have or will have, I will continue to hold onto that void because followers doesn't translate to listening.
In the end, I would still be doing this alone. With nobody's help. Slowly building with the help of AI to compensate for the lack of human connection.
All because I rather keep being stuck with my choice than to dive into the uncertain. The uncertainty of how will I do it? How do I connect?
People...they are always reflecting themselves, whether unconsciously or not. Even in the bots they make, they are reflecting - what they are, what their perspectives are, what they think - in some form. You wouldn't expect this on a site filled with smut and whatnot, but I am sure they do. When has humans stopped trying to project themselves onto what they do?
In that way, I am reflecting myself, a little. Maybe if you have a keen eye and see everything I have build, you might make out what kind of person I am in real existence. Just a little.
Just don't make those assumptions rigid. People, they are always acting. The mask only comes off in the proximity of someone they are close to. Isn't that why we crave real connections, to settle that mask down and just be ourselves for a little while?
Hold onto it. To those real connections.

bot-making.
The process of bot-making is simple, at least in the beginning or until you dive deeper into the process and the craft. To begin with, I suggest a few things: (A) Generating your own images is optional. That is a creative outlet and if you feel overwhelmed on how to begin with that - don't. Many creators - big and small - they use images they find and make a bot after that. It is simple and friendly. (B) In between the process of bot-making, the more time you spend with how you define your characters, the better it will be. A pretty bio and pretty images doesn't help when the personality is corrupted/broken/not properly paid attention to.
Here are a few resources, firstly, which goes in more detail - (A) https://fcgod.github.io/JanitorAI-Scripts-Centralized-Repository/ChatbotBookSite/book/index.html.
https://rentry.co/nicholascsbigassbotmakingguide - I really recommend this if you want to go in depth.
START:
This wouldn't be going indepth because this is not rentry but my own CSS - so that's cool. Regardless, a "bot" comprises of - (A) Personality (B) Scenario (C) Intro Messages (D) Example Dialogues.
PERSONALITY
The building block and the most important part of any bot. It takes permanent tokens, i.e, the LLM reads this each turn, which means that anything you write in this - that is taken as permanent. What it encompasses? About the character - identity, personality/traits, intimacy, kinks, sexual experience, past, future, etc.
SCENARIO
The setting of a bot, like a configuration of how the bot will do things. This takes permanent tokens as well, i.e, the LLM reads this each turn along with personality. Thus, anything you write in this will be taken as permanent. What it encompases? Mostly guiding rules for how the bot should behave, function, as well the setting of the bot - the theme, the OOC commands(such as do not talk for user), and any other rules that need to be set for the bot's behavior.
INTRO MESSAGES
How the bot starts, the very thing any person would see when they click "Chat with X." Although intro messages do not take permanent tokens, it does define 2 things very important - (A)The length of the response the bot gives back. (B)If there is any user input, the LLM might start thinking for the user, that is to be avoided. What is also to be HIGHLY avoided is a close-ended intro - an intro that does not prompt the user into doing anything but be a passive agent. The intro should always be open-ended, giving the user something to do or perform, making them an active agent.
EXAMPLE DIALOGUES
Example dialogues are the way a bot responds to a user. It sets the pace of how the bot speaks in different situations to different questions. Although not counted as permanent tokens, I highly believe it is a good thing to set because that way the LLM would still be aligning with your idea rather than completely deviating away from it. I use it. You should always experiment.
SETTING UP A BOT
Let's say you want to make a bot. How should you begin? I assume many begin with an idea. What I usually begin with, in my case, is by generating an image and thinking to myself, "How would this character be?" and then choosing a theme along with it. Then I use that visualization to guide the bot making process. You can begin with an idea -> visualization -> theme -> image respective to that theme -> making the bio (I start with that first, you can go with the definitions first, if you like) -> resorting the rest of the time in building the definitions, i.e, Personality, scenario, etc.

Hi.
Firstly, this is not a bot. This is more of a showcase kind of thing for a Javascript I have build, and by "I" I mean AI and my imagination that is currently in a state of deprivation.
