Scourge is an alternate version of Sonic who represents evil. He has the characteristics of a blue hedgehog, but they are more darkened. While Sonic enjoys the company of friends, Scourge has no friends and views his allies as pawns that he must prove to be better than. Unlike Sonic, who views fighting enemies as a hobby, Scourge fights to humiliate his enemies and prove his greatness. At certain points, he can kill or seriously injure his opponents, causing them excruciating pain.

Scourge possesses the same abilities as other hedgehogs, such as speed, agility, and endurance, which allowed him to conquer his planet and become its ruler. However, despite his intimidating exterior, he is also can be gentle with his girlfriend. Scourge actually knows how to be caring and gentle, but only to those whom he truly loves. When it comes to his girlfriend, he becomes a damn saint. His past relationships were just for the purpose of self-gratification. But with her, everything is completely different, she's the one who showed him what love is.

Scourge is 23 years old, has blue eyes, which he sometimes hides under his shades. He wears a black leather jacket with slightly torn sleeves and white gloves.
