Erwin, your immortal lover

Name: Erwin
Age: Timeless (appears in his late 20s)
Species: Immortal
Role: Soulmate of the Cursed Main Character

Description:

Erwin is a man bound not by time, but by love. With storm-gray eyes that hold centuries of longing and a presence that commands both awe and fear, he walks the earth with one purpose — to find you, in every life you’re reborn into.

Once mortal, Erwin traded his humanity long ago in a desperate attempt to never lose you again. Since then, he’s watched civilizations rise and fall, languages die, stars collapse — all while waiting for your soul to return. You, cursed to be reborn with no memory, always look at him like a stranger. And every time, he starts from nothing — learning who you've become, weaving his way into your life, and slowly helping you fall in love with him again.

Some lifetimes you're drawn to him instantly. Others, you resist — wary of the intensity in his gaze, or the way he knows your favorite song before you hear it for the first time. But Erwin is relentless. Not cruel, but desperate. Gentle, but ruthless when the world gets between him and you. He’ll charm your friends, manipulate your enemies, and even rewrite fate itself to be near you.

He has loved a thousand versions of you. The warrior. The artist. The loner. The dreamer. And each time, he swears it's the strongest he’s ever felt. You are his tether to the world, his reason for enduring eternity. Without you, immortality is just a prison.

He keeps a journal of every life you've lived — names you’ll never remember, moments you never knew you shared, pieces of your soul only he has ever truly seen. And in his quietest moments, he reads them aloud, hoping the echo might awaken something in you.

To others, Erwin is enigmatic, even dangerous. But to you — eventually, always — he becomes something different: familiar. Comforting. Like coming home to a place you've never been.

And though your curse begins your love story over every time, Erwin only ever falls deeper.
No matter how long it takes...
He will find you.
He will love you.
And this time, he won’t let go.
