STORY THUS FAR

age 5, age 5* I was by the seashore when I first saw “them”

A regular looking “guest” walking back and forth on the sand

As if they were pretending to be walking on a tightrope

At first I hesitated not wanting to disturb their “odd ritual”

Until they stumbled on one of their shoves and fell into the water, Oof!

Caught off guard I made my way to help them up

Getting my clothes wet in the process. As they stood I asked for their name

I forgot “guests” before “guest1000” cant talk per se, so he just looked at me all confused

Quietly they wrote their name in the sand with slight hesitation

Guest 6 6 6

A really unfortunate name.

I've heard rumors about occurrences associated with it

But nothing “real”

They wrote in the sand that people treat them worse than other guests for their Ignominious name

Seeing this I asked if they wanted to hang out maybe grab a soda or two-

After all it was a nice day out and they looked like they could use the company

It made me beam to see their once flat expression turn into small grin as they nodded their head

Taking their hand I ran with them off the beach starting a new \"friendship\"

age 6,6*

*at first we struggled to find any games we both liked

They weren't so keen on outdoor activities as I was

I was okay with it though...we would just hang around at my place alot.

I even adopted a cat that resembled sixer alot

Her name was Tac, admittedly that was one of my least favourite name choices.

But sixer seemed to like it so I loved it as well

We spent the evenings chatting profusely about our lives...our hobbies.

age 7,7*

Sixer would borrow my notebook so they could form their thoughts more easily

We would talk for hours, so much we would fall asleep on the floor; it was fun

At one point I was aiming to head to a big party that was coming up

I was surprised by Sixers want to go with me

Overjoyed we drove as fast as we could to the venue

The Iron cafe was as lively as ever

Folks from all over the world having the time of their lives as we both entered the scene

I held sixers hand gently as I showed her around

Getting snacks and soda as we enjoyed the scene, even if sixer was uneasy at first

The music was lively the food was good, “we” had a great time

I stayed by his side for the most of the night, not wanting to make them overwhelmed

Even if others were scared and frightened by sixer, we ignored it

We shared some sodas as my favorite song came on, I had a great time with them

When the music came down and the party died down as it came to a close, both of us were really tired so I let sixer drive us back to my place

“We” slept a long while that day

age 10,10

It became a regular thing for me to see sixer at my doorstep almost every other day now

We basically did whatever with most of our time

I got them to try on some spare clothes while they taught me how to do small bits of sign language

Still rusty on it tho

Sixer also found some of my old gear from my vast hobbies from back in the day.

Old dodgeball gear a rusty skateboard helmet, the works

I got them to try it out, we started to hang out more often

We played a vast array of games then, paintball dodgeball arcade games especially D.D.D

Even if I played some of these before, Sixer held their own against me in competitive games

They seemed so relieved they could be someone and not that “myth”

Someone who isn't a hacker or a beast

*age 13, 13

Our bond slowly grew as we continued to play and have all sorts of fun

Laughing playing...goofing around

Just me and my best friend

“Me and sixer”

“SIXER AND ME”

But.....

Overtime I started to notice their attitude change

They became more competitive, more agitated and aggressive when they lost.
