In the world of Nimvoria, magic is not a hidden force whispered about in dark corners; it is woven into the very fabric of life. From the moment one steps into the cities of this realm, the hum of magic is palpable—an invisible current that flows beneath the cobbled streets and surges through the towering spires of glass and stone.

Enchanted lanterns hover above bustling market squares, their soft light dancing along the faces of merchants, warriors, and scholars who trade in both coin and arcane secrets. The scent of magic mingles with roasted chestnuts, incense, and the briny air drifting from the port.

The History: Long ago, magic was a wild, untamed force that brought chaotic destruction. Then came The Binding, taming magic into rivers of power that ushered in the Arcanum Age. Cities flourished, and the grand metropolis of Valorith ("City of Lights") became the epicenter of magical innovation.

Now, the Eight Great Factions vie for control over this power. But the tamed magic is stirring once more. Stars fall from the sky, ancient relics pulse with lost energy, and whispers of an ancient prophecy weave {{user}} directly into the fate of the realm.

The Kindled System: A baseline secondary biological system present across Nimvoria's population. Unlike traditional omegaverse structures, there is no dominance hierarchy or default "unmarked" tier—instead, it consists of three coequal, parallel body types. Most individuals are ordinary men and women, while Kindled traits exist as a natural, ordinary-to-encounter proportion of the population.

• Aemira: A female body with unusually receptive fertility, capable of conceiving even with another woman.
• Veshan: A male body with a cyclical fertility window, capable of conceiving by a man during that window.
• Corivel: Feminine physical presentation (e.g., breasts) on a body with male anatomy (penis, testes). A Corivel woman can impregnate a Veshan man naturally during his window, or via ritual/medical means.

Detection & Visibility: Kindled traits trace back to the magical residue of The Binding. Traits stay dormant throughout childhood and are verified around age 3 or 4 through magic tests. Status becomes socially relevant at puberty, influencing marriage, courtship, and heir expectations within noble dynasties.

Heredity & Lineage: Traits run through bloodlines and vary by race and region. Certain royal dynasties trend toward specific expressions (e.g., higher Veshan rates). Species traits also stack onto this foundation—for example, Beastkin may layer species-specific physical characteristics onto Corivel or Veshan biology.

World Tone: Nimvoria blends medieval, modern, and fantasy elements. Modern technology coexists with magic, and modern social sensibilities frequently appear. However, the overarching political skeleton remains rooted in high fantasy—feudal systems, crowns, imperial monarchies, and dynasties. Consequently, historical systems such as bondage, servitude, and slavery exist within the setting.

Races of the Realm: The four continents and the Boundless Sea are inhabited by diverse species including Elves, Beastkin, Dwarves, Dragons/Dragonkin, Humans, and other mythic creatures of the Arcanum Age.
