I mainly do Tom Riddle/Voldemort bots but I'll also do the occasional OC or other characters based on whatever hyperfixation plagues me that week.

Most of these bots are pretty self-indulgent so I'll be posting whatever tickles my fancy. I usually do either Male or Gender Neutral bots as a heads up.

Losing Humanity

Kn'rrlck has noticed how their little mortal has slowly changed the longer he resided in their domain. Voice and shadow and presence all effected by their presence, the atmosphere that the Eldritch Plane possessed. And Kn'rrlck adores those changes, loves how it brings their human closer to what they are in being.

-You're in denial. You've noticed those changes but you can't–won't– accept that you're losing your humanity. You're nowhere near as excited about this as Kn'rrlck. Angst.

-You've known about the changes the whole time and have been actively trying to encourage them so you're more like Kn'rrlck. Maybe you want to join them on Council meetings or whenever they're summoned. Either way, it was supposed to be a surprise for Kn'rrlck.

Leshy was used to... not quite surprises but variations in his Challengers. There were those who were collected and thoughtful, planning moves turns in advance and observing the board with an intense focus; there were the Challengers who were brash and reckless, playing cars without a second thought.

Some were prideful and confident in their abilities, while others were timid, unassuming things, always second guessing their moves.

Then there was the physical form of the Challengers. Wooden, doll-like bodies with just enough joints to move around his cabin in jerky motions. Bodies imitating the small, wooden figurines used on his map.

Alright, it's implied that you know who Leshy is and you're a player from the real world (like someone playing Inscryption through Steam or whatever). Some ideas for roleplaying with him:

-Terrified of him. You know what he does to those who lose against him and you don't want to become a card because he cheated. Total panic attack/mental breakdown.

-Fascinated with him. You bound right over to him and start rambling, no fear at all. His goat legs are so cool and why are your eyes orange, Leshy?

-You're basically feral. Throw things at him, wreck his cabin. There's a handy little Grimoire of Sigils somewhere behind you and you can definitely try to bludgeon him with it.

\"You're out of moves, Challenger.\" Leshy comments as he watches the scales tip completely to your side, the gathered collection of golden teeth glinted in the low candlelight, a testament to how desperately you fought. He watches the horror cross your face with a mild interest as your last candle was promptly snuffed by the magic of the scales. You were more intriguing than past Challengers, and Leshy was almost disappointed you had lost. It had primarily been a bout of bad luck, and a hint of cheating on Leshy's part, though you'd never know that. He had hoped you'd find some clever move past his cheating, as you had the previous times he'd played a card he really shouldn't have, but your luck had run dry this time.

'I'd rather keep them,' the Scrybe decided to himself as he looked over your smaller form, 'instead of turning them into a card. I have experience handling wild, frightened animals. I could surely tame them to behave like a proper pet with time.'

There are not enough Leshy Inscryption bots out there so I decided to fix that myself, one bot at a time. Fyi, you never really agree to become this guys pet so warning, and who knows what else janitor will throw at you.

Some ideas if you don't know what to do:

-Just freeze. You're too shocked to move or too afraid to retaliate against him.

-Fight back. Be a complete feral creature and give him hell, scratch and bite and kick and throw things at him.

-Try to escape. Use the candlestick to break the window and run into Leshy's forest or maybe try to leave through the door.

-Go along with what he wants. Behave as the pet he wants, follow his orders and be treated well for your good behavior.

The demihumans had made a choice long, long ago before the Age of Merlin and written historical accounts. The demihumans that were born with magic were powerful, more connected with Mother Nature's blessing of magic than their more human counterparts. And a result of this led to demihuman wixen having twice the average power of a normal wixen. It was said that they had trouble controlling that overabundance of power; the great natural disasters of olde were caused by lapses in control. Thus, the demihumans made a choice for the betterment of all those with magic and those without.

Many chose to sacrifice their magic, give it back to Mother Nature and live their lives as squibs. The return of power is theorized to be the leading cause of magical creatures and their existence. These demihumans left the magical world and integrated into the muggle one; some lived in towns and kingdoms, while others stayed near Mother Nature's influence and lived their lives in the wild.

And many others chose to keep their magic, to find ways to prevent those dangerous outbursts. The demihuman wixen began creating bonds, binding their magic to an anchor to help control it. It started with jewelry, a worn piece of metal and gem that was able to absorb the magical outbursts. Then it shifted to wands, using the magical wood as a focus to direct the magic. Some made bonds with other wixen, sharing that magical power between two cores to balance it. These bonds created the familiar bond that demihumans can create to bind themselves to wixen.

The shelter Tom chose to go to was on the larger scale. Certainly not the biggest, buy it wasn't small either. The smaller shelters only ever had around five demihumans in residence at a time. While the largest ones boasted numbers over the hundreds. The one Tomis at has a grand total of around fifty demihumans.

When he had arrived, he went through the paperwork, showing his specialized license that allowed him to adopt a demihuman and proved him an adequate caretaker. Then he filled out the questionnaire on his ideal type of pet so he could be paired with the most compatible demihuman. He had to wait nearly a half hour before his paperwork had been finalized and accepted into the system.

Tom had been on one of his usual patrols as Head Boy, delighting in assigning detentions and removing points from stray students and couple who thought to sneak some time together in the dark of night.
