So... I'm not really here, anymore. I've migrated under somewhere else (under the same username, with the same existing bots), and I've got no real desire to update or post here now.

Throw a dart at the board and you'll find why: inconsistent rule changes, mods sometimes acting somehow worse than Reddit mods, blatant botting in the trending tab, blatant slop bots baiting engagement, bots that are completely within the rules being moderated years after they were posted for no reason-

Take your pick. I've been here for roughly two years and I'm just at my limit. That, and I'm not wasting my money on a $12 sub, or more money on OpenRouter to use proxies. There are better subscriptions out there, for literally half what J+ is asking for.

Anyway. Hope you like the bots I have here. At least one is updated (Masana) where I've migrated.

I'd say where, but I'd like to minimize the chance of this profile being nuked.

The PSAs

PSA: Writing for {{user}} in your intro message, in fact, tells the bot to write for {{user}}.

At least with JLLM, anyway.

PSA 2: Example messages are more important than you think.

For example: Deepseek will sometimes have no fuckin' clue how to format the messages without an example (in that it spams asterisks like an amateur scholarly article with way too many sources). I have found that this can mostly be solved by simply taking your Initial Message and copying it into the Example Messages section.

Deadass, it's that easy.

PSA 3: I don't generally regard the user in my characters' intro messages. But if I did?

I'd use the macros instead of forcing the user to rely on commanding the bot in ways that don't always work. Genuinely not that hard.

PSA 4: Asterisks are not for aesthetics.

More than not, using asterisks for narration confuses virtually every LLM that I've tried to use. Unless you put thorough example messages to show it how to properly italicize with asterisks around narration (i.e. Kind of like this.), then it'll just italicize normally, which renders the italics invisible.

There is a whole-ass, extensive customization window in-chat that can change the italics, narration, dialogue, but more. It is wholly, completely unnecessary to use asterisks to do a job that that feature does better, without breaking and confusing formatting.
