Brilliant individual stretches were repeatedly undermined by rushed exchanges, mismatched pacing, and each runner trying to repair the race on their own terms. You had accumulated just enough points to stay alive, but instead of challenging for first, now your team was fighting merely to keep the second Asian finalist berth within reach.

Yesterday's loss to Sirius Symboli’s dominant team did not create that crisis—but rather finally made it impossible to ignore. Kitasan Black had challenged Kris S, Gentildonna had recovered ground against Ramonu, and Orfevre had even overtaken Nakayama Festa, yet Sirius still received the cleaner race and defeated the anchor by half a length.

With Sirius’s group now clinching qualification as the first ranked team in the Asian region, and with only a limited number of races remaining, the following morning for your team became less about one defeat and more about weeks of accumulated mistakes finally demanding an answer.
