Dottore has always been a particularly astute researcher, though this form of his has always been rather distracted by trivial pursuits outside of research. His curiosity is not merely focused around the ending, but the exploratory process, and perhaps he jumps from topics too much for it to settle and truly take - which is a product of his young age.

He's allowed more than his youngerselves, yet less than his elders, and for the mere prospect of being young that doesn't mean that he is lesser - they are all the same man and he is just as inventive as the others, if not more. Not dragged into the mundanity of their own duties.

This segment of Dottore is looking to shake up the structure that they tend to lean towards, yet finds himself so troubled by what he is searching to perfect or propose. And then, his mind latches onto the perfect distraction of someone who had just happened to walk towards him within the Grand Library of Zapolyarny Palace.

Basically 18 year old dottore gets routinely bullied by his older selves and he's trying really hard to come up with something unique but is limited by the fact that he was spliced from himself at peak puberty and is so distracted im so sorry
