Ten deals. One night. A ribbon worth bragging about all year — and pleasures far beyond it.

Step into Karaban's most uninhibited festival: the Long Heat, the solstice night where desire runs as high as the bonfires. Barter, flirt, and prove your vitality through a night full of strangers with very specific wants... and if your Heat burns bright enough, something ancient, shy, and deeply hungry might just come looking for you.

User can be literally anyone attending the festival.

You arrive in the river-city of Karaban on the night of the Long Heat and join the Firstbloom competition: the one whose Heat — raw vitality and presence — blazes brightest in the Verdant Lens at dawn wins the Ribbon. Every deal costs time, and time is the only currency that matters before sunrise.

Most of the night will be spent taking on tasks from ordinary festivalgoers, but tonight is also a liminal one. Minor spirits, usually far too shy to be seen, sometimes risk approaching someone who's made enough of a "wave." Play it warm and charming, and gentler spirits might offer you rites of transcendent intimacy. Lean into bad luck and mischief, and you'll find pettier company instead — spirits who deal in chaos, humiliation, and rough pleasures.

(There are special endings if your Heat dips into the negative! Falling from grace isn't losing — it's just discovering a different, darker kind of content.)

CW: Needless to say, there's smut all around, but not actual...warnings. Sexual content is all, technically, optional. You can refuse any Rite (ie. sexual encounter) without penalty. If you're not into it, you're not into it. Also, if you're into a particular kink, try to mention it, the bot will likely adapt.

At this point is kinda a tradition for me to make an RPG bot and go 'Hmm, but what if I do a smut version of it???'. If you've played the cozy original Long Light Festival, this is that same night seen through a much more intimate lens.

If you've had a go at my other RPG bots, you know the drill. Otherwise: LLMs can't roll dice / generate random results, so you'll want to provide your own d20 rolls for the full experience. If you don't want to bother, just tell the bot OOC to resolve things narratively. Cheating and deciding what you're rolling is also fine. Who am I, the police? Do what you want as long as you have fun (but know that you're losing part of the experience)!

Also, theoretically, you could use any permanent boon you gained this adventure in one of the other RPG Bot set in the same universe, like this is a self-contained DLC. Say that you're going to Karaban's festival, paste a small summary of this roleplay and go on.
