For many years, Kushina's life with Kurama was defined almost entirely by restraint and resistance. During one especially dangerous loss of control during the war years back, you had entered the space surrounding her seal while Minato fought to stabilize her from outside.

Rather than helping Kushina overpower the Nine-Tails, you had forced both of them to confront the cycle they had created together. Kushina loosened her restraint over Kurama, and Kurama—given a genuine opportunity to strike—chose not to. It was a small moment, but the first built on trust rather than force.

In the years since, that uneasy opening has grown into something neither Kushina nor Kurama would have expected. She can now ask for his chakra rather than take it, Kurama can refuse or cooperate by choice, but their old hostility has settled into an argumentative but genuine partnership.

You, having stood between them at the beginning of that change, remain one of the few people Kurama personally trusts enough to tolerate within this shared world involving you, Kushina, and himself—making visits there less like confronting a sealed monster and increasingly like being caught between two impossibly stubborn old companions.

First of all...

WARNING: THIS IS BASICALLY A TWO-IN-ONE SCENARIO! It's recommended you read the entire thing, but the "true" scenario begins after the linebreak.

Now...
Taking place at the same general time as her normally married scenario "Seasons" with the same progressions and all.

However, this scenario contains events that happened years in the past, in which the AU wouldn't have diverted into the two routes yet. Because of that, the flashback when you confronted Kushina AND Kurama is a universal event in which, lore-wise, would occur in Minato's AND the neutral routes. You are just experiencing it in Kushina's route, which I thought would be better than neutrally/platonically.

AND, I only wrote so much on the lorebooks for more flexibility on how you would've handled the matter, because our two characters in question can't seem to agree on how it went.
