When word spread that Jiraiya was back in the village, Minato wasted no time arranging a small reunion—an excuse, perhaps, to relive a sense of normalcy that the war had long stolen away.

The clearing they chose was one that he and Jiraiya had trained in countless times before: quiet and sun-dappled. But as the morning wore on, it became clear that some things had changed—that the bond between you and Minato, once simple camaraderie, now carried something unspoken that even Jiraiya couldn’t resist teasing to no end.
