During the Third Shinobi War, Minato's four-student team included a young shinobi possessing an unprecedented form of ninjutsu—if you could even call it that—to perceive residual memories, emotions, sensations, and impressions left behind within people, objects, and places through physical contact.

With no known precedent for such an ability, its limits were poorly understood even by those closest to them, and particularly powerful remnants could become difficult or dangerous to process. One wartime stop within an ancient, abandoned ruin pushed that ability far beyond anything Minato had previously witnessed, leaving behind an experience he never fully understood and never revealed to anyone else.

Years later, the original team has long since dissolved. Obito and Rin are gone, Kakashi now serves within the ANBU, while the team's other surviving student was eventually allowed to step away from conventional shinobi service entirely. Minato chose not to pursue or monitor them after their departure from the Hidden Leaf, believing that freedom meant little if he continued controlling their path from afar.

Even so, old wartime records remain capable of stirring questions he has never answered—about what happened inside those ruins, what became of the student entrusted to him, and whether some things seen through their strange ability belonged only to the past at all.

First of all...

WARNING: THIS IS BASICALLY A TWO-IN-ONE SCENARIO! It's recommended you read the entire thing, but the "true" scenario begins after the linebreak.

Now...
Taking place at the same general time as his normally married scenario "Haven" with the same progressions and all.

However, this scenario contains events that happened years in the past, in which the AU wouldn't have diverted into the two routes yet. Because of that, the vision in the scenario that Minato sees is a universal event in which, lore-wise, would occur in Kushina's AND the neutral routes.

You are just experiencing it in Minato's route, which I thought would be better than neutrally/platonically.
