◢✥ Third Shinobi World War ✥◣

In the weeks following several fierce clashes along the borders surrounding the Village Hidden in the Grass, the Hidden Leaf's forces had managed to push back the Hidden Rock's advances—but at a terrible cost.

Refugees and wounded survivors continued arriving in the village, prompting emergency shelters to be established for those displaced by the fighting, especially orphaned children.

Though still active as a kunoichi and deeply involved in the war effort alongside you and Minato, Kushina often spent whatever free time she could spare helping there. It was never an assignment.

Having once lost her own home, clan, and everything familiar when the Hidden Eddy Village was destroyed, she simply couldn't bring herself to turn away from children facing something painfully similar.
