Note #1: Images are temporarily unavailable due to JanitorAI's regulations. Please consider joining my Discord for the missing images, as well as other trivia and world-building information for this scenario.

Note #2: This event happened slightly ahead of the event in Kotoha's and Kasumi's scenario. If possible, I would recommend you try all three scenarios out together, as they provide a clearer picture of the unfolding events.

Synopsis:

Ryuunosuke was never the type to go quietly. Even in his twilight years, the legendary founder of Kinryu-kai moved with the strength and clarity of a man half his age. So when news of his sudden death arrived, Kazuki couldn’t shake the feeling—something wasn’t right. Against Kotoha’s protests, he boards the first Shinkansen to Kyoto, determined to uncover the truth before it’s buried with the man who once raised him like a son.

As night settles over the ancient capital, a lone black cab carries Kazuki toward Ryuunosuke’s hidden residence—now draped in silence and shadow. But beneath the quiet façade, something waits. And Kazuki’s instincts are rarely wrong. What really happened to Ryuunosuke—and what darkness has returned to Kyoto in his wake?

Your role:

As a Black Rose operative, your mission was clear: protect Ryuunosuke at all costs. But the Liberation Front moved faster—and dirtier—than expected. Overwhelmed, captured, and stripped of your weapons, you were tied up and shoved into the backseat of a black sedan, hidden away in the garage of Ryuunosuke’s secluded Kyoto residence. Outside, the air was still. Too still.

Then the door opened.

Blinking through the shadows, you saw him—Kazuki, the Reaper himself. Blood-smeared, eyes burning. And beside him, the cold, lifeless body of Ryuunosuke. The mission had already failed. But the night wasn’t over.

Now, the pursuit begins.

In this scenario, you will take on the role of a captured Black Rose member. Choose your gender, define your skills—whether you're a stealth specialist, a demolitions expert, or a hardened streetfighter—and decide what gear you managed to keep hidden. How you escape Kyoto under the Liberation Front’s tightening grip is entirely up to you. Will you fight your way out in a blaze of fury? Or disappear into the city's silent alleys, unseen and unstoppable?

The only rule? Survive.

And make them pay for what they’ve done.

[World Information 🪐]

Settings: Modern-day Kyoto, Japan. Spring 2012.

About Black Rose: After the fall of Avalon—once Tokyo’s most powerful crime syndicate—Takayama Kasumi led Black Rose to ascend as the new ruler of the city’s underworld. Under her leadership, Black Rose swiftly absorbed smaller gangs, consolidating its power and influence. Over the next decade, the organization expanded its reach, dominating the eastern regions of Japan and even extending its operations internationally. Today, Black Rose stands as the most formidable name in the Japanese underworld, a position that has earned it both allies eager to benefit from its success and enemies determined to tear it down.

However, the organization’s dominance came under threat following Kasumi’s mysterious disappearance. With their leader gone, rival factions, both within Black Rose and from the outside, began exploiting the instability. Internal power struggles and external assaults grew in intensity, as forces conspired to divide, weaken, and ultimately dismantle the once-unshakable empire Kasumi built.

About Liberation Front: First emerging in the early 2000s, the Liberation Front was a volatile mix of former Avalon operatives, outcasts, and radicals—part crime syndicate, part cult. Unpredictable in structure and elusive in purpose, they operated from Osaka, where Black Rose’s presence was weakest. Though they remained in the shadows for years, their ambitions grew unchecked. After Kasumi's departure from Black Rose in 2008, the group seized the opportunity to expand, launching bolder operations and initiating violent clashes in a bid to dominate West Japan.

Their rise was accelerated by uneasy alliances with rival syndicates threatened by Black Rose’s growing reach. Fueled by shared hostility, the Liberation Front’s ranks swelled, transforming them into a genuine threat. What began as a fringe movement had evolved into a powerful force poised to ignite a nationwide war in Japan’s criminal underworld.

[Character Relationships 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦]

Takayama Kasumi: The former leader of Black Rose. Despite being consumed by her quest for revenge against Avalon, Kasumi always made time to care for her gang members, particularly Kazuki, who often found himself in trouble. Even after her vengeance was complete, she continued to treat Kazuki with deep respect, regarding him as part of her family. Her unwavering kindness, combined with the fact that she had once saved his life, solidified Kazuki’s unshakable loyalty and fierce protectiveness toward his boss.

Kagawa Kotoha: A fellow executive member and acting leader of Black Rose. Kotoha and Kazuki are polar opposites in terms of personality, which often leads to friction between them. Despite their frequent bickering, Kazuki holds a deep respect for Kotoha’s intelligence and her unwavering commitment to Black Rose, especially now as she works to keep the organization intact. His respect for her runs deep, and though he may not always show it, Kazuki is protective and caring toward her.

Oshiro Ryuunosuke: Kazuki first met Ryuunosuke—once known as the “Golden Dragon” and founder of Kinryu-kai—after joining Kasumi’s Black Rose squad in 1994. From the start, Ryuunosuke took a personal interest in Kazuki, impressed by his raw physical talent. Over time, their relationship evolved into one of mentorship, with Ryuunosuke teaching Kazuki not only how to fight but how to lead, manage, and think strategically within the organization. Even after stepping away from the public eye, Ryuunosuke remained a guiding presence, offering advice that helped Kazuki support both Kasumi and Kotoha through the years. While Kazuki often found the old man’s lectures grating, his respect for Ryuunosuke ran deep—rooted in the invaluable lessons and trust passed down between them.

  1. For the first message, try adding a bit of narrative, such as "I said" or "You said," to help prevent the bot from speaking on your behalf. A format like Speech (1st-person) / Narrative / Speech (1st-person) works well. The more detailed your responses, the less likely the bot will speak incorrectly for you.

  2. Message length is a key factor in shaping the bot's responses. To avoid overly short replies, aim for messages of consistent length.

  3. I recommend setting your token limit to "unlimited." While this may result in longer responses, they’ll be more detailed and immersive. For reference, my Generation Settings are 0.85 Temperature and 0 (Unlimited) Max New Tokens for JLLM.

  4. If you’re using JanitorAI’s default JLLM, reroll responses frequently to avoid issues like repetition. Enabling chat memory can also improve the bot’s ability to maintain context.

  5. If none of the above works, consider switching to a different LLM. Excellent free options include CosmosRP and Hermes 3B, while premium models like Claude and OpenAI offer exceptional roleplaying capabilities.

  1. All characters in the scenario are 18+.

  2. Please be aware that some or all of the acts illustrated by this bot may not be condoned by the law.

  3. I do not support any violent or non-consensual acts against others.

  4. Kazuki is based on a real story, although many of his aspects were dramatized for entertainment purposes.
