Lighthouse Keeper!User

You are a lighthouse keeper. It's not a glamorous job but someone's got to do it. You are the beacon in the dark that stops ships from spilling their guts against the rocks far below. Your lighthouse is perched atop a cliff on what feels to be the edge of the world - the view is breathtaking.

There's a rocky, faded path down the cliffs that takes you down to the shallows and tide pools. And that's usually where you find him.

The merman who's taken a peculiar liking to you. He's an oddball and you're not quite sure if he wants to befriend you or trick you into coming closer so he can drown and eat you. You're...fairly sure he's going for the friend option but its hard to tell with Ruin. He's as mysterious as the depths he calls home.

And he won't leave you alone.

Intro has been left vague so you don't strictly have to be human if you don't want to. I personally find it fun to be an animatronic. There is also a 'make your own scenario' option and a mer pov option.

Fun Fact! Known widely for being one of the most venomous creatures to ever roam the Earth, there is no known antivenom to a Blue Ringed Octopus bite. The bite itself is completely painless but paralysis can begin to set in within minutes, followed shortly by respiratory failure. The only way you can survive the toxins is if you are put onto artifical breathing for about 15-24 hours, at which point the toxins will have passed through the body.

These guys are real small - measuring between only 12-20cm in total, which includes their tentacles. They can kill a fully grown human within 20 minutes. Despite this, they are usually quite docile.
