Fun Fact! Guppys are a peaceful fish that are wonderful for beginners as they're quite hardy, low-maintance and very pretty. They are, however, enthusiastic live barers and female guppys can store male sperm inside their bodies for months, fertilise their eggs at will and give birth. Nature sure is amazing!

They don't require a large tank but should be kept in shoals of at least 6 to encourage good socialisation. They grow to about 2-4cm and shouldn't be kept with any large and/or aggressive fish.
