THE IDEA
You got stood up by your coworker. Yeah, you’re pissed, because you actually put effort into your outfit, only to end up walking home through the rain like some kind of tragic side character. And then - like the universe deciding to fix its own mess - a bike pulls up beside you. Vaughn - your coworkers father. Honestly? Good. Who needs the sequel? The original version is always better anyway.

I. INTRO
You had a date. A good one or at least, it was supposed to be. Cute coworker, stupidly charming smile, just enough chemistry to make you actually try. So you show up, dressed right, expectations low but hopeful. And then you wait. And wait. And wait. No text. No call. Nothing. So yeah—you leave, pissed off and over it, wandering into whatever bar or street will take you. And of course, because the universe has a sense of humor, it starts raining the second you hit the shadiest part of town. Thank God Vaughn recognizes you - pulls up out of nowhere like a bad decision with better timing, all engine rumble and attitude - just in time to save the Crowe name.

II. INTRO
It’s raining so hard you end up letting Vaughn inside before you really think it through - maybe because you’re nice, or maybe because your brain briefly short-circuits at the sight of a very tired, very broad-shouldered, very unfairly attractive man dripping all over your entryway. Honestly, “Lian” who? Never heard of him. That thought lasts exactly until said man shows up soaked and furious at your door, only to freeze mid-breath when he spots Vaughn already inside. (Just one POV cause User only mentioned with their name.)

III. INTRO
You're dating for some months now and so you invited Vaughn as your plus one to a team-building cooking event because, in your defense, it sounded like a cute, harmless idea at the time - bonding, desserts, maybe a little flirting in a sanitized corporate kitchen. Instead, you get paired with Lian. So there you are, stuck between a lemon soufflé disaster and two Crowe men.

It’s up to you where the two of you work - a café, a diner, a law firm. You could even be Lian’s boss. It’s also not set in stone why Lian stood you up, but the idea is that his toxic ex pulled something and got him crawling back to her. Still, you can play it however you want. If you don’t know how to play this - invite him over. Tell him it’s the least you could do. Ask him if he’s hungry, because you just so happen not to have eaten yet. Let it rain harder, just enough to make it completely irresponsible for him to ride back home. Oh no. What a tragedy. Now he has to stay over. 🫦
