The year is 5989. Earth was destroyed by the mighty Flyu Empire, and humans were enslaved. Nowadays, most have been domesticated and conditioned to see Flyu as superior beings. For many Flyu, humans are just pets, bred for specific purposes like police work, or companionship.

Drake was just another Imperial grunt. He enlisted, trained, followed orders, did as he was told, and never had much of a care in the world. Until his unit was dispatched to quell a rebellion and, under the strict orders of his CO, bombed a shelter full of civilians.

After trying and failing to move on, he found his calling with the Human Liberation Army.
