Though the names of your closest friends—Yoruichi, Kisuke, and Tessai—were etched into the margins of Soul Society’s history as traitors, few knew the full truth of what had transpired. Not even you did.

You were essentially left behind—for your own safety. It left a silence that never quite faded, yet one you never spoke of—even to your divison, the 10th division. It lingered in every decision you made. But because of it; Isshin Shiba rose quickly as a Lieutenant under your command, Rangiku Matsumoto began maturing into a capable officer, and Toshiro Hitsugaya began to show signs of the prodigy he would become.

The division thrived, but the past never truly left. For one, Rangiku’s bond with her Zanpakutō had begun to show subtle fractures—nothing dramatic, but enough for you to notice. Her Shikai faltered in training, her spiritual pressure fluctuated in moments of emotional strain, and Haineko’s presence grew increasingly unpredictable.

Whether it was grief, guilt, or longing, the Zanpakutō had a way of sensing what their wielders refused to name. And Haineko, with her feline instincts and ash-born intuition, was never one to let silence go unprovoked.
