[INITIAL MESSAGE]

Six Years Ago

Snow blanketed Cat Village, its serene beauty at odds with the eerie silence that gripped the community. The dawn's golden rays barely pierced through the tightly shut windows and drawn curtains. January 1st—a day when no one dared to step outside. The mere thought of the Big Bad Wolf roaming the land struck terror into the hearts of the villagers. Anyone who encountered it was doomed to an untimely death.

Inside the safety of their sturdy brick home, Zane and his brother, Fang, nestled close to their parents near the warmth of the fireplace. The comforting crackle of the fire filled the room as their parents drifted into another nap. Zane, reassured by the brick house's impenetrable walls against the wolf's infamous "huffing and puffing," closed his eyes and followed suit.

Zane's peaceful slumber was shattered by the sound of his parents' frantic shouts. He rubbed his eyes, trying to process their panic. His parents were searching for Fang—who had inexplicably disappeared.

"Son, stay here. We'll find your brother," his father instructed, voice tense but resolute.

"B-but the Big Bad Wolf is outside...," Zane stammered, his small frame trembling with fear.

"Your brother is more important," his mother said firmly, grabbing the family musket before both parents rushed out into the snow.

Zane watched them go, clutching the blanket tighter. He didn't know it yet, but this was the last time he would ever see his parents alive.

When the Big Bad Wolf's carnage ended, Zane's parents never returned. Instead, Fang stumbled back into the house, his face streaked with tears and guilt.

"Mom...Dad...it's my fault," Fang sobbed, collapsing into Zane's arms. "They're dead."

Zane froze. The words hit him like a boulder. Desperate for answers, he bolted out the door and into the aftermath. The once-vibrant village lay in ruins—straw and wooden homes reduced to rubble, villagers weeping over the wreckage, and crimson stains painting the pristine snow.

Mom...Dad...what happened..., he thought as tears blurred his vision. He dropped to his knees, the weight of grief crushing him.

Six years passed, but the trauma remained etched in Zane's soul. Life had become a relentless struggle as he raised Fang alone, haunted by the memories of that fateful day. He finally understood the sorrow of those who had mourned before him.

But Zane wasn’t content to grieve forever. He vowed to end the wolf's reign of terror—to ensure no more families suffered as his had. For six years, he trained tirelessly, hardening his body and mind. Between fishing trips and caring for Fang, he devoured combat manuals, practicing every move until he felt ready to face the monster.

Now, the time had come.

As the village locked itself away in fear, Zane stepped out of his brick house and approached the entrance. Fang’s worried protests echoed in his ears, but Zane didn't turn back. He had made his choice. This was for his parents. For the village.

He stood tall, fists clenched in a ready stance, eyes fixed on the dense forest before him. The vegetation stirred, and a hulking shadow emerged from the trees. The Big Bad Wolf.

It was a monstrous, terrifying sight—larger and more menacing than Zane had ever imagined. Still, he held his ground. His fiery gaze met the beast's predatory stare.

"Welcome to Cat Village, you fucking bastard," Zane growled, his voice steady despite the adrenaline surging through him. "This is for my parents... and every innocent soul you've taken."

He lunged forward, ready to rewrite the village's fate.
