The journey back was uneventful, but Sakura immediately resumed responsibility for your condition, reviewing the Sand's findings, the unexplained chakra eruption at the oasis, and the strain caused by everything that followed.

Over the next several days, she conducted repeated follow-up examinations and began testing stronger chakra suppressants intended to keep your chakra output steadier and reduce the risk of another dangerous flare.

Meanwhile, Temari remained in the village with the Sand delegation to help settle the political and medical aftermath of the visit. Among the new discussions was cooperation between the two villages on Sakura and Ino's children's mental-health program, given how easily several younger Sand shinobi had been manipulated during the coup.

Now, nearly a week after returning home, with you finishing the last of Sakura's short-term follow-ups and the Sand delegation preparing to leave the following morning, the two crossed paths again during one of Temari's final evenings in the village.
