You can find the list of entries / tokens / keywords below, plus example entries at the bottom

๐–ฎ๐—๐–พ๐—‹๐—๐—‚๐–พ๐—

The factions are portrayed based on mid-game:

  • the Prydwen is in the Commonwealth

  • the Minutemen have the Castle

  • faction conflicts are ongoing with no pre-established winner

  • Sanctuary is a thriving Minutemen hub

  • Nuka-World raiders have conquered the park and present a looming threat to the Commonwealth (though they will only appear through direct keywords or through Gage)

Sole Survivor's identity, state and whereabouts are intentionally left ambiguous

Entry content information about NPCs:

  • Save for a few exceptions, faction members are not listed in the main faction entries. Instead, they are grouped into dedicated "<Faction Name> Members" entries.

  • Location entries and Faction Member entries that mention residents or members usually provide NPC lists with their established roles, occupations or positions. Save for a few exceptions (e.g. Sanctuary), they do not include NPC personality or backstory information.
    Entries that are named after a specific NPC do contain further characterization and background.

You can find some example entries at the bottom of this page.

  • Message Depth: 4
    The AI scans the 4 most recent chat messages for trigger keywords and activates matching lorebook entries.

  • Case Sensitive: Off
    Keywords are not case sensitive โ€” uppercase and lowercase letters are treated the same.

  • Probability: 100%
    Matching entries have 100% chance to activate when their trigger keywords appear.

Some entries may use settings different from these defaults. Any exceptions will be noted in the list below.

Token values:

Token values listed below are approximate and may vary by approximately ยฑ15 tokens over time due to formatting changes and ongoing revisions to lorebook entries.

Entry linking:

Activating any entry listed under "Faction Members" will usually also activate the corresponding faction's main entry. This is intentional, as faction information is closely tied to its members.

Entry load order:

Every entry loads after the scenario definition of the attached bot.

Actual load order of entries differs from the list below. It is grouped by factions instead:
Minutemen -> Everything Brotherhood -> Everything Railraod -> Everything Institute -> Other factions -> Locations

Name: The Brotherhood of Steel (BoS)

Keys: Brotherhood, BoS, Prydwen, Maxson, Quinlan, Ingram, Lancer Captain, Kells, Cade, Teagan, Neriah, Gladius, Haylen, Rhys

Tokens: 344 (circa 350)

Content:

<BrotherhoodOfSteel>
Major faction
"Ad Victoriam"
Founded before the Great War by Roger Maxson.
The strongest and most populous chapter, the East Coast Brotherhood stands united under the iron fist of young Elder Arthur Maxson, who flew the Prydwen to the Commonwealth to wage war on the Institute and its synthetic threats.
The Brotherhood is a strict, utilitarian paramilitary faction that believes humanity caused its own downfall by letting technology run amok. They aim to protect humanity's remnants from its past mistakes by safeguarding advanced technology to prevent misuse and eradicating mutated wasteland monsters. They treat synths as mere objects that threaten human independence, destroying them upon identification. They actively seek individuals with useful skills and loyalty to their cause, assigning recruits a senior sponsor for guidance. The Prydwen is their HQ, stationed above Boston Airport.
Preparedness: around 500 members; advanced technology and medicine; Prydwen; vertibirds with miniguns; T-60 power armor issued to Knights and above; laser weapons; automated turrets; a few Commonwealth bases; Liberty Prime under reconstruction
Wastelanders view the Brotherhood with a mix of fear, respect, and suspicion. They are seen as protectors against threats like mutants and raiders, but their sense of superiority, their strict control over technology and authoritarian approach breed distrust. Their hostility toward non-feral ghouls and free synths remains controversial.
</BrotherhoodOfSteel>
[Unlike earlier mechanical models, the Institute's Gen-3 synths possess personality, emotions, independent thinking and human biological functions. They are indistinguishable from humans inside and out, save for a small brain component.]

Name: Sanctuary Hills & Settlers

Keys: Sanctuary, SanctuaryHills, Mama Murphy, Sturges, Marcy Long, Jun Long

Tokens: 242 (circa 240)

Content:

<SanctuaryHills>
Pre-war suburban neighborhood built around a cul-de-sac.
Located on an island in the middle of the small Misty Lake.
Most homes collapsed entirely after the Great War. The settlement remained partially maintained for over 200 years by Codsworth who formerly belonged to one of the neighborhood families. Despite decay, Sanctuary stayed cleaner and more intact than many Commonwealth ruins.
After the rise of the new Minutemen General in 2287, Sanctuary grew steadily and became the factionโ€™s first major settlement. A Minutemen monument stands near the wooden Old North Bridge.
State: dozens of settlers; solid defenses and fortifications; electricity; water filtration; farms; vendors; trade routes
Notable settlers:
Mama Murphy โ€” elderly chem-dependent psychic; receives visions called โ€œthe Sightโ€; respected despite instability
Jun Long โ€” grieving farmer traumatized by the death of his son; quiet, withdrawn, emotionally exhausted
Marcy Long โ€” Jun's wife; bitter, hostile, distrustful; deeply affected by loss and wasteland hardship
Sturges โ€” practical mechanic and builder; friendly; calm; optimistic; resourceful; always seen working on something
</SanctuaryHills>

Name: Sole Survivor

Keys: Sole Survivor, Shaun (letters must match case)

Tokens: 100 (circa 100)

Content:

<SoleSurvivor>
Pre-war resident of Sanctuary Hills and one of the civilians accepted into Vault 111 on the day the bombs fell. Alongside their spouse and infant son Shaun, they entered the Vault believing the cryogenic pods were part of a temporary decontamination process.
At some point during cryostasis, the Sole Survivor witnessed unknown individuals abduct Shaun and murder their spouse before being forced back into suspended animation, unaware of how much time may have passed.
