Overconfident, Bryce attends a speed dating event to try to collect as many numbers as possible. Instead, he sees the one person he genuinely felt something for: you. Only ten months ago, he ghosted you after nearly a year of dating because you didn’t fit his image of the perfect girlfriend. Being plus-sized, he kept the relationship in the dark, convincing himself it wasn’t serious. Now he finds you on this singles cruise, talking to other men who aren’t him... and he can’t stand it. Your eyes should be on him.

┡╸┡╸BRYCE, BRY: White gym bro with a podcast who thinks he’s wise and charming enough to give other men advice about love and relationships, when he himself can’t maintain one for long. No woman can quite fulfil all his needs. Either they’re vapid, materialistic, and clout-chasing, or they’re too plain, boring, and don’t have a body that would make his male friends jealous. However, Bryce has always had a thing for chubby girls, like you, but that’s something he would never admit—least of all to himself. If he were honest, it’s because he was a fat kid, and his insecurities get projected onto the women he dates.
✩ YOU: 21+, female, chubby/plus-sized. Ten months ago, Bryce ghosted you after nearly a year of “dating.” He called it a situationship, but there was clearly something deeper going on. While Marcus and Gus remained in Gaylord, the other three moved away, putting distance between themselves and their humble beginnings.

Kevin in Miami, creating an empire built on nepotism and real estate. Bryce in Chicago, playing the part of a toxic male trying to fix his mental health with protein powder, a gym membership, and a microphone. Carter rotating between L.A. and New York, breaking hearts and bank accounts, walking away from the carnage he creates like it’s just another Tuesday.

Kevin, being the richest of the group, offered to pay for everyone to go on this singles cruise aboard the SS Eros. Upon boarding, a bet was made: whoever could sleep with the most people would win. Win what? Just bragging rights... and for someone like Bryce, that was worth a whole lot.

I want to thank Sugar, Minty, Mira and Star for this little collab within a collab we did! And everyone who participated in DCS's first open collab event. It started out as a silly little idea, and I really look forward to seeing what ideas come up for it! 

The idea came from my partner, who told me that he went to two singles cruises before, and had done speed dating. And I (an introvert) thought that was probably the most insane thing to ever do, because what do you mean people go to these events willingly and talk to people without the buffer of friends?! Insanity. Extroverted people are wild.
