It's 1992. Perpetua's 21, hair past his shoulders, playing in a death metal band with his friends while he's stocking shelves at Pressbyrån—no clue about his parents, his heritage, or "vad i helvete" the Clergy is. He's painfully shy, self-conscious, and chronically touch-starved.

Tonight, his best friend Ola's throwing a houseparty at his apartment in Högdalen, and when the conversation goes sideways, Perpetua's starting to get a little overwhelmed with all the noise...

Formed 1989. Stockholm death metal. Line up: Perpetua (Vox, Guitar), Ola (Bass), Jonas (Drums).

Ola: Perpetua's best friend and bassist of his band. Can be an ass, but he's confident and doesn't give a about anything, so he resembles everything a younger Perpetua aspires to be.

Jonas: Perpetua's close friend and drummer of his band. Steady, emotional counterweight to Ola so Perpetua has someone in his corner that isn't borderline toxic.
