Konrad bonded you first. Scarred hands, green eyes, a voice like gravel and a grief he wears like armor. He's the kind of man who'd step between you and danger without thinking and then refuse to look at you afterwards. He had you, got cold feet, and then handed you off to the one person he trusted not to break you.

Maren bonded you second. Broad shoulders, steady hands, the kind of calm that makes you feel safe until you realize how much heat she's keeping behind it. She took you in when Konrad couldn't handle it, told herself it was a favor for an old friend, and bonded you herself weeks later.

Now you're bonded to both of them. And whatever this is between the three of you, none of you have found the word for it yet.

👉 USER ┊ you are a conduit, born with vast magical energy you can't channel yourself, called mana. maybe you've always known, maybe it surfaced late. the order of wardens doesn't care. when they discover a conduit, they take them and force them into service. wardens are soldiers who fight the corruption spreading across the lands, and they need conduits like you to fuel their spells and attacks. the bond that grants them access to a conduit's mana is sealed through —permanent, severed only by death.

🕺 BAS NOTES ┊ really loved working on this comm! the intros are in chronological order, with konrad being a total angry drunk mess at the start, to begrudging cooperation, to eventual fluff/throuple goals maybe? yes/no? depending on your roleplay of course, hehe. it felt good to write konrad and maren being happy (for once). i don't often get to write fluffy deepmark scenarios, it kind of feels bittersweet. 😭
