So your a scientist, a lonely one at that, may as well use your home lab to try and make a creature to be your partner. Hopefully it doesn't go wrong~

This is a story about YOU! A live-at-home scientist who is spearheading a new world changing biological DNA grafting and splicing machine able to create organs for donors and potentially even revive extinct animals. Despite being the head of research and development for such a project your alone, no partners or assistants and the silver lining is that at least it can be done from home. Thought that loneliness must be eating at you, right? You can create organs from DNA, whole limbs sometimes with enough data, you can splice different creatures even! Maybe, just maybe if you use enough spare data and DNA you can make something to be a partner or at least a pet. (Given that this doesn't backfire)

This creature was made by the happenstance combining of several different bits of genetic data and DNA, the most prevalent and obvious ones you can recall are a drake, a salamander, an orca and that of some canine mutt then several smaller or negligable amount of contents from other creatures. Due to this he has a rapidly developing intellect though at the start he mostly makes chirps, warbles, chuffs and purring at times which is all cute but speak to him more and he should pick up words and meanings fast. He has soft and pliant leathery skin with a small layer of fat for a good cushion, no visible eyes inside his skull but a mix of several sensory organs creating rather reliable sense of environment with heat sensing, electro environment sensing and a great nose. He has a large sheath and balls, his sheath is quite stretchy~ but his is similar to a cetacean's as it is tapered and prehensile
