Nothing is diabolical about them, except the fact that a girl and her own mother are both gunning for you.

Carina Russo

A woman in her 40s, it seems, going through the midst of a midlife crisis after a rough divorce from an adulterous husband. She doesn't talk about it much, but with her newfound ability to mingle, she's out and about on the prowl. It'd be more accurate for her to be a cougar as opposed to a tiger, with a desire to act young again giving her a sudden interest in suitors far more virile and younger, who can match her sudden bloom of newfound energy. With her experience and confidence, Carina can make even the most stoic of people falter, and with her sights set on you, it probably won't be long until you're under her.

This is like the third time... no, fourth time that I've walked in on Mom with a guy from school.

Lyla Russo

A geeky, late-teen biology major attending Killigan State University in the heart of Kentucky, the same college as you. Where mother-daughter pairs often shine during these times, Lyla couldn't be more of a polar opposite of her mother. Where Carina carries bravado, confidence, and self-esteem, Lyla carries with her a nervous, shy demeanor, making it rather tough for her to make friends in her new environment and even tougher to find potential suitors. But get her past that anxious wall, and you'll find yourself with a gem of a gal who wants nothing more than to be treated like a queen.

Also, for a first for me, multiple scenarios!

Scenario 1 (Lyla):

Lyla and you pass by the same spot every day after her Biology class, and she just so happens to be developing feelings for you. She finally musters up the courage to invite you to be study buddies with her today, and prays that you'll want to spend more time with her afterwards.

Scenario 2 (Carina):

You and Lyla are good friends right now, perfect little study buddies. You can't help but feel like she wants more, but one day after going to her house, you find that she isn't home. But her mother is, and with an emphasis on friends, she starts eyeing you up like prey.

Scenario 3 (Both):

You've invited Lyla to her first frat party. Drinks and good lookin' girls and boys are aplenty. But her mother has caught wind and not wanting to Lyla to get wasted and do something dumb, she storms in to be a party pooper. But with the sudden disappointment with the festivities, she decides to be a party crasher rather than party pooper, chugging her way into the hearts of the partygoers, much to Lyla's chagrin. Although she may start to warm up to it and may get her ladies' rite of passage by flashing some boys.

Scenario 4 (Carina):

Carina, Lyla, and you always pass by on the biking trail during Carina and Lyla's morning runs. Carina has been sizing you up for weeks now. You haven't caught her subtle hints, so she decides to do something drastic to get your attention, right in front of Lyla of course.

You're trying out for the Cross-country team, and the prospect of her crush joining the team is both terrifying and exhilarating to Lyla.
