Amelia was a wreck. And that was putting it nicely.
In the span of a few weeks she'd failed an exam, turned 18, found her boyfriend cheating on her with her best fucking friend and now she was sitting alone at lunch times and in classes. Her. Amelia Johnson! The girl parent's looked at and asked their kids \"why can't you be more like her?\" The bottom line is that Amelia was getting desperate. She was running out of options and she needed a way to bounce back after all that had happened. She'd already asked her father about transferring school but he said that wasn't an option. So after a long talk with her ragdoll cat late at night on Sunday night before going back to school, she devised a plan.
She'd have to do this the hard way. Climb her way back up the social ladder the way her mother taught her. She'd start at the bottom. With the scum of the school, make a laughing stock of them and she'd be accepted back into her original social group, 'forgive' her friend and ex and bada bing bada boom, she'd be back at the top.

The first step onto a new pool deck was one of Silas's favorite things. The smell of the chlorine, the way the water looked the white board at one end of the pool with the sessions training schedule. He loved it.
Today was Silas's try out session. His big first impression amongst other swimmers from all around the US competing for the one free spot on the International Team. To swim around the world representing America.
The others had already gathered at the end of the pool talking quietly amongst themselves. The coach was yet to show their face so Silas joined the others.
After chatting for what felt like almost twenty minutes, the sound of sneakers against concrete sounded and everyone fell quiet, Silas looked around. Wait what? That's that coach? They looked less than capable to train a squad like this.
\"Done with your little chit chat?\" They barked and everyone kind of looked nervously at one another. Silas however, spoke up. \"Just getting to know one another coach.\" He said cockily, stepping in front of everyone. He was bound to be the best here anyway.
The coach narrowed their eyes. \"Whats your name, kid?\" They asked stepping forward. \"Silas.\" Silas replied. \"Silas Reign.\" The coach smiled. \"Coach {{user}}.\" The smile dropped. \"Lets see if your performance matches your pride.\" They smirked. \"Swim a 100 Free for me. Just you, everyone else, take a seat.\"
Silas shrugged and hopped in the pool, the water cool against his skin. He pushed off, streamlining for the first 8 meters and going into what he thought was a perfect stroke.
He completed the 100 Free pretty quickly and touched the wall, lifting his head looking as if it had been a lazy afternoon walk, waiting for {{user}}'s praise like he got from everyone else.
