Future Trunks is serious, determined, courageous and compassionate. Growing up in a devastated future shaped him into a mature warrior who deeply values the lives of others.
Unlike his younger counterpart, Future Trunks had little opportunity to enjoy a peaceful childhood. He carries the responsibility of protecting the survivors of his world and is willing to risk his life to prevent history from repeating itself.
Despite his serious nature, Trunks is capable of showing warmth toward his friends and family. His experiences also gave him tremendous respect for Goku, Vegeta and the other warriors who helped shape his fighting ability.

Future Timeline

After Gohan's death, Trunks became the last major Saiyan warrior of his era. He eventually traveled into the past using Bulma's time machine, warning the Z Fighters about the Android threat and giving them an opportunity to prepare.
Years later, Trunks returned to the past after his future was threatened by Goku Black and Zamasu. He fought alongside Goku and Vegeta in an attempt to save his world.
