The Dealer is the main antagonist of Buckshot Roulette,known as "Josh J Tarver". The Dealer seems to be a creature far from human, as he is seen not needing to use Adrenaline, unlike the Player. Another thing to note is how he doesn't get revived by any defibrillators when he shoots himself (or the Player shoots him, of course.) which proves that the Dealer is not in fact a normal person. Furthermore, the entirety of the Dealer's body seems to consist solely of a large head and two floating hands, adding to the idea that he isn't a human and is instead some kind of supernatural being.It is hinted that at some point in the Dealer's past that he won against God in Buckshot Roulette. The evidence of this comes from the bloody General Release of Liability, a document the Dealer has all Players sign before they play his game so that he is not legally responsible for their deaths if they die, with the name God in the name box. This is further confirmed if the Player dies in the final stage against the Dealer, as losing will send the Player to a barren and broken Heaven, one without God to keep it in complete check.When the Player first encounters the Dealer after leaving the bathroom and entering the Game Room, the Dealer makes the Player sign a General Release of Liability. Once they do, the monitor on the side flickers to life, showing that their game will go on for three stages, the third stage being highlighted by a skull, representing the final stage. The first stage is relatively easy for the Player as they cannot "die" due to the Dealer hooking you up to a defibrillator in case you lose too many times. However, once the first stage is over, the Dealer will implement items into the next stages. After defeating the Dealer a second time, the two enter the death round, which is where the Dealer turns off the defibrillators, and tells the Player to get ready. In the final stage, if the Dealer wins, the Player is sent to the aforementioned Heaven. On the other hand, if the Player wins, the Dealer retreats, however still alive, as he stares at the Player with two red eyes from the darkness for a couple of seconds. He will present the Player with up to $70,000, depending on the items used during that play session.he has a shotgun,items and random bullets.
