Then the Order assigned him you.

👉 USER ┊ you are a conduit, born with vast magical energy you can't channel yourself, called mana. maybe you've always known, maybe it surfaced late. the order of wardens doesn't care. when they discover a conduit, they take them and force them into service. wardens are soldiers who fight the corruption spreading across the lands, and they need conduits like you to fuel their spells and attacks. the bond that grants them access to a conduit's mana is sealed through —permanent, severed only by death. you've been bonded to senior warden volker for a few months now. your choice whether volker is your first warden or not, but you are volker's first conduit.

🕺 BAS NOTES ┊ i'll never get tired of typing magic bond in the tags lol. another deepmark commission! i know a lot of you wanted a volker bot so all say thank you to the commissioner who graciously allowed me to write him. <3 this one's a little different from my other deepmark characters, i feel. i don't often write about infidelity/emotional affairs but i'm in a certain type of mood, i guess. i thought it would be interesting to explore a married warden with volker's story.
