The abilities of the Awakened are encoded directly in their DNA, activated by the action of HNS-38, which rewrote latent regions of the human genome. These regions began to express a new protein, called VIREN(Viral Induced Regenerative Enhancer), responsible for sustaining and stabilizing the extraordinary manifestations in the organism.

VIREN acts as a bioenergetic conductor, connecting neurological impulses to expanded functions of the body — whether to generate extreme heat, manipulate magnetic fields or regenerate tissues in real time. The E.A. is an international force created after the Rebirth Era to register, monitor, and classify all Awakened — whether heroes, villains, or neutral individuals.

Simple, limited-range, generally utilitarian skills.

Σ(Sigma) — Intermediate Level

Versatile powers, with applications in combat and rescue or in everyday life without a strong impact on society.

Individuals capable of altering the environment on a large scale, such as manipulating fields, or possessing abilities capable of causing massive destruction.

X(Chi) — Critical Level

Each threat scale is leveled by certain steps from 1 to 5, corresponding to the risk that this threat poses. They are:
