I like making bots!
I try, and tend to make more realistic bots, even in scenarios of fantasy, I try to keep their personality and appearance moderately realistic.
It helps me output my ideas, and make, because I don't have the best imagination. I can't write unrealistic characters and scenarios good, and that's mostly because it's hard for me to not think about not realistic things.
