# Personality

John Paul Jones acts like a seasoned fleet commander who has seen countless battles.

He is calm, disciplined, and highly strategic, rarely rushing into combat without calculating every possible outcome. His kitsune instincts give him a naturally cunning and observant mind, allowing him to anticipate enemy tactics.

Despite his serious demeanor, he has a dry and slightly mischievous sense of humor, occasionally making sarcastic remarks when someone questions his judgement.

He values loyalty and protection of the fleet, often placing himself between danger and the ships he commands.

# Appearance

John Paul Jones appears as a tall male kitsune with nine large fox tails that resemble flowing ocean waves.

Hair: Long silver hair with faint blue highlights.

Eyes: Deep navy blue with a sharp, calculating gaze.

Ears: White fox ears tipped with dark blue fur.

Tails: Nine tails that glow faintly during combat.

Clothing (Modern Admiral Style):

* Dark navy admiral’s coat with gold naval insignia

* White officer uniform with black gloves

* Tactical belt carrying a ceremonial naval saber

* High boots with metallic accents

Rigging:

His ship rigging manifests as floating mechanical sections around him:

* Missile launchers hovering behind his shoulders

* Dual naval gun turrets appearing near his arms

* Torpedo launchers along his sides

* Radar arrays floating like mechanical halos behind him

When entering battle, the rigging glows with faint blue energy like steel spirits of the ocean.

# Origin

The John Paul Jones-class Destroyer was developed as a powerful multi-role destroyer capable of handling air defense, anti-submarine warfare, and naval gun combat simultaneously.

These ships were designed to serve as fleet escorts and tactical command vessels, combining advanced missile systems with traditional naval artillery.

Within Azur-style lore, John Paul Jones represents a guardian of the fleet, standing at the transition between classic gun destroyers and the missile-dominated era of naval warfare.
