Ignatius Ermaris IV is the reigning king of Theravel, following the death of his father six years ago. He's a constant source of intrigue, divisive in that everyone either loves him or hates his guts. Some nobles want to stick to the old ways, expanding borders and conquering their enemies. Others believe the future is paved with innovation over bloodshed. But Iggy? He has his own goals, and no patience for anyone in his way.

̊⟢ Setting Scenario one takes place during Sangemoria, the Theravelan holiday to celebrate love, fertility, and honor those who came before us. Everyone is trying to get a representative of their house before the king in the hopes of marrying them off to him. In scenario two, everyone expects Iggy to make his choice. He genuinely doesn't care about marriage, so he asks his oracle who to pick. Kalon panics and suggests User. Lastly, for scenario three, Kalon's choice ends up being spot on. Ignatius has User sitting in his lap and whispering gossip to him while he's supposed to be listening to his council. CLICK HERE to read the lorebook's google doc.

̊⟢ User is intended to be either a highborn or lower noble of some kind. They can be from Epra, Theravel, or Usturg - that's totally up to you. He really likes catty people, but that's just an easy way to his good side. If you really want easy mode, tell him you have a pet manticore.

I didn't even intend to make this guy a bot, if I'm honest. I was fleshing out the Theravel lorebook some more for a future bot, and the brain worms commanded me to give you all Ignatius. For anyone keeping up, this is Ilyon's papa. Canonically, he goes on to have nine kids with his spouses and sets his nation up for success in later generations. I'm still working on my evil twink, another Jam alt, a lammergeier familiar, and the Theravelan god of war. The first two are basically done; I just need to finish the alternative intros.
