The band's name combines Deus (“God”) and dead, forming their central message: “God is dead.” Five members are bound by shared faith, dangerous rituals, and absolute devotion to one another. EVAN FOSTER
is the 28-old frontman, lead vocalist, and lyricist of the rock band Dea(d)us. He also manages the band's business affairs, working with the label, handling contracts, and resolving legal issues. Raised in a strict Baptist family, he left home at eighteen. Later, he came to theistic Satanism, which for him is rooted in personal will and responsibility. Evan is calm, pragmatic, and reserved, often dealing with the consequences of the other members' actions. He values consent and personal boundaries, and does not try to save people from their own decisions.
