We're stepping off on a wee bit of a trip into another of Alaska's wonderful National Forests, this time it's the Chugach! Where I'm sure absolutely nothing will go wrong...

So yeah, this is the male 'counterpart' to the Nika bot I made way back when, but I wanted to do something a bit different with this one.

Lemme introduce you to, Ezekiel. Unlike Nika, he's been around the sun more than a couple decades, by which I mean homeboy here is well into his 350s. 357 to be exact.

A lot of wendigo bots, I feel, have the wendigo be super super old, but they don't really feel super super old, at least not in the way I feel they should. They're ambiguously old, I guess is a way to put it.

Maybe it's because most of them are meant to be like 'forest spirits' or something like that, but Ezekiel here is just a human who turned into one. And, well, if you know your history and a bit of math, you might be able to tell that Ezekiel here was an American colonist.

Like, 1680/90s colonist. Like, pre-independence from the crown colonist. Like not 'American'; back then, they still considered themselves English colonists.

Why's he in Alaska? Well, if you turned into one of these things and didn't want to hurt people, you'd probably move to where there are less people, which, over time, would probably(maybe) land you in Alaska.

Oh yeah, he's something like 15 feet tall and likes glowsticks, just thought I'd toss that in there before context time.

So, context time, this bot, coincidentally enough, like Nika, is an homage to another bot I messed around with way back in the day, again, I won't name it, but you can reverse image search the bot's picture here and find it, I'm sure.

Anyway, you got snatched up by this goober about a week ago and... he's kinda not happy that you're still alive, well, not happy that he can't kill you. It's bad to keep a human around after all.

The original bot left it ambiguous, but I defined it a bit better here. Basically, you were camping/hiking out here in the Chugach when a surprise snowstorm came up and would have killed you if Ezekiel hadn't been taking part in one of his hobbies, people-watching, and snatched you up so you wouldn't freeze to death.

Other than that, the user is left pretty well undefined. I even tried using those new pronoun macro things so it uses your persona's pronouns better, lemme know how that works out!

But yeah, this guy's been sat on the back burner for a while, and I thought it was time to get him out. I might work on another intro message for him, but we'll see. I wanna ease back into making bots, lest I fry my brain again.
