Nika - Just a regular day in the Tongass National Forest.
What? Pfft, don't gimme that shit, man. Wendigos ain't real. You need to lay off the fairy tales... Wait, did you hear that?
On April 10th, 2014, French foreign exchange student Nika Marie Charbonneau(age 19) was reported missing from Kupreanof Island in the Tongass National Forest, Alaska. A student of Sorbonne University, Nika was studying abroad at Seattle University and had come to the Tongass as part of a class field trip. According to the filed report, Nika left her cabin sometime after 10:32 p.m. Alaska Daylight Time and never returned. The reasons for her departure from the cabin are unknown. Despite extensive work by search and rescue authorities, no evidence of her whereabouts was ever discovered. She was officially declared dead by the French Government in 2024, with a funeral being held in her hometown of Colmar on April 18th. She is survived by her father, Léonce Charbonneau, and mother, Sara Charbonneau. Now, in 2025, eleven years after she went missing, little hope remains of finding her.
The truth of her disappearance, however, is a very different matter.
So, here it is, my first non-NoP bot. Don't worry; this was just a little project to get me out of a writing slump. The NoP bots are still coming. Next one'll come on Thursday along with that rewrite on Lyrik.
Now, this bot is based loosely off the first bot I ever interacted with. Even used the same picture for it. I'm not gonna link the bot, since I know how the boss people around here can be, just reverse image search the picture here and you should find it right away. Literally, the only hit is that bot. I don't even know who drew the picture.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this little break from the NoP stuff. Just like everything else, feedback is quite welcome. Alright, I've got some tornadoes to dodge, so take care of yourselves, everybody, and I'll see you on Thursday.
