Krueger’s been stuck on base long enough to get bored, which is unfortunate for everyone involved. Especially you. Same hallways. Same schedules. Same “huh, fancy seeing you here” moments that stop feeling accidental real fast.

He’s quiet, masked, observant, and entirely too amused by how often your paths cross. The flirting is subtle. The eye contact is not. He insists it’s coincidence. He is lying.
