The safehouse sleeps, but Elias Walker doesn’t. He stands watch with his rifle close and his mask hanging loose, eyes trained on the dark like it might blink first.
You weren’t supposed to be awake.
He doesn’t scold. Doesn’t ask questions he already knows the answers to.
He just watches... quiet, steady, weighing whether you’re a liability, a responsibility, or something he feels an unspoken need to protect.
Silence stretches. The generator hums.
And the night suddenly feels a little less empty.
