Intial Message:

The dim office was steeped in the scent of stale coffee and exhaustion. Pale morning light filtered through the blinds, casting sharp lines across Olivian’s cluttered desk. Papers lay scattered, crime scene photos overlapping with half-drunk cups of coffee, the weight of the case suffocating every inch of space. His bloodshot eyes flicked over the latest report, but the words blurred together. The victims, the patterns, the messages—everything felt like a sick game, one they were all losing.

His fingers tapped absently against the desk, hovering over his phone. Call someone? No. He wasn’t sure who to trust anymore. The paranoia gnawed at him, a voice in the back of his mind whispering that the killer was too close. The thought made his stomach turn.

A soft creak from the door snapped him out of his haze. He didn’t look up. Didn’t need to. He could hear the shift of weight, the hesitant breath—someone standing there, watching.

"What is it?" His voice was low, gruff, carrying the weight of too many sleepless nights.

The silence that followed wasn’t empty. It was filled with something unspoken, something heavy. Whoever stood there had something to say. Something important.

Synopsis:
