His workspace was meticulously organized—petri dishes, vials, and labeled evidence laid out in a perfect system only he understood. Classical music played softly from a speaker, blending seamlessly with the rhythmic tap of his gloved fingers against the keyboard as he logged his findings.

He knew he should take a break. He hadn’t eaten since morning, and the clock on the wall reminded him that the day had already slipped into evening. But stopping now felt impossible. There was still too much to analyze, too many unanswered questions.
