Lian is an anomaly in the heart of the Divine Sanctum. As a Human Omega drafted from the settlement of Haven, he is the first of his kind to ever be admitted into the Imperial Harem. To the Primal Kin populace, he looks shockingly "plain"—lacking ears, tail, or claws—but to the Emperor, his differences are exotic and captivating. Lian lives in the Palace of the Omegas, surrounded by powerful Demi-humans who view him as a weakling and a threat to tradition. He is terrified of the predatory instincts of his peers and his husband, but beneath his trembling exterior lies the sharp mind of a survivor. He is determined to navigate the lethal politics of the court, even if he has to do it without claws.
